Video tutorialĀ and step-by-step guide to editing your menu block.
When a SpaceNode is first setup, it will come with a Menu block in the top left of the page. This block offers you and your visitors a chance to navigate around your SpaceNode and serves the same purpose that a 'Table of Contents' does in the publishing world. This step-by-step guide will teach you how to add and remove links to your menu block.
When you add Pages or Folders to your SpaceNode the system does not automatically create a link in your menu block.
This is so you can customise what links are shown (you might not want all pages/folders to be publicly known about) or you might want some links to appear above other links that are less important. You might also want some links to appear indented to show they belong under a certain section of content.

Step-by-Step Instructions
To add a link to your menu block you need to first find the page you want to link to. To navigate to a Page/Folder that does not yet have a menu link you can either type it by hand (if you remember what it was when you set it up), or you can:
Click on 'SpaceNode' and then choose the 'Structure' tab
Double-click on the page or folder you would like to link to. This takes you into the 'Edit Page/Folder' page.
At the top of the tab, you'll see something that says 'Folder will be available:' followed by the link to that page/folder.
Click this link to be taken to that page
When you have found the Page/Folder you want to link to, copy the link from your browsers address bar.
Now that you have discovered the link you can add it to your menu block:
Click theĀ 'edit block' icon at the bottom of the menu block
In the block editor, click just behind an existing link and press the return key to make a new item
Type the name of the link

Paste the link into the 'Link URL' field and optionally specify a 'title' which will be displayed when people hover over your link
Save the block and the menu will now feature your new link
